Skin peels are known as chemical peels this is a common way to intensively exfoliate the skin and to resurface tired and dull skin. A skin peel is also used to address a wide variety of concerns, it has the ability to penetrate into the mid to lower section of the epidermis where resurfacing cannot reach.
There are different types of acids or enzyme peels used to target different depths within the skin to be able to treat lines and wrinkles, scarring and pigmentation.
The skin does not need to be prepped prior to treatment, it is recommended to have one treatment a month.
4-6 treatments are recommended for best results.
